Michelle's Pro Bowl Diary: Ohana Day

Follow Pro Bowl Cheerleader Michelle as She Tours Through Hawaii

Aloha!

I've have to say, the weather here is absolutely amazing. It's supposed to rain for the game tomorrow, but a little rain never hurt anyone!

Today has been my favorite day here, so far. We started the day off with our usual breakfast, and then headed to Aloha Stadium for Ohana Day. Ohana in Hawaiian means family. It was an event open to the public, so a lot of NFL fans made their way into the stadium. The NFC cheerleaders practiced on the field with the NFC players, followed by the AFC. There was even a cheerleader vs. mascot flag football game in between the practices of the teams. The cheerleaders obviously won the game ;) I even scored the winning touchdown... In boots!

Following Ohana Day, we stayed at the stadium for a media rehearsal. We rehearsed our intros, and the pre-game routine we are performing with Train. Along with the cheerleaders, there are also hula dancers, drummers, ukulele musicians, and professional dancers performing with the band. I can't give too much away, so make sure you tune into the game tomorrow.

After that practice, we changed for the Block Party. This "party" was located on one of the main roads in Honolulu. We signed autographs and pose for pictures. We performed on many of the numerous stages set up for the event and had the opportunity to watch a few other performances as well.

I can't believe this week is almost over, and the game is tomorrow. It flew by so quickly, and I don't want to leave. The game is at 6pm tomorrow, make sure to watch!
