This will be the third time the Rams have provided a playground to the St. Louis County area, the first of which was in 2011 when the team built a playground for Giant Steps, a school for children on the autism spectrum, located in Maplewood. Last year, the St. Louis Rams built a playground for the students of Washington Elementary in the Normandy School District.

After the team’s initial playground build took place in East St. Louis in 2009, the Rams returned to Illinois in 2012 and delivered Fairmont City, IL with the community’s first playground.

In 2010, the St. Louis Rams built a playground for Monroe eMINTS Academy in the St. Louis Public School District.

Playground suppliers interested in submitting a design proposal should contact Sarah Rouland at srouland@rams.nfl.com prior to Friday, March 21 for information regarding the RFP.
