Marygrove, one of the largest residential therapeutic treatment centers in Missouri, has been announced as the recipient of the St. Louis Rams 6th Annual Playground Build. Marygrove is located in Florissant, Missouri and serves more than 900 youth and young adults each year.
Marygrove was selected from a pool of competitive applicants from the bi-state area.
This will be the third time the Rams have provided a playground to the St. Louis County area, the first of which was in 2011 when the team built a playground for Giant Steps, a school for children on the autism spectrum, located in Maplewood. Last year, the St. Louis Rams built a playground for the students of Washington Elementary in the Normandy School District.
After the team’s initial playground build took place in East St. Louis in 2009, the Rams returned to Illinois in 2012 and delivered Fairmont City, IL with the community’s first playground.
In 2010, the St. Louis Rams built a playground for Monroe eMINTS Academy in the St. Louis Public School District.
